I am passionate about traveling and self-development and combine the two to live a life full of joy, excitement and growth. Life isn’t over once we reach mid-life; it’s just beginning!
My Mission
At Beginnings & Endings, I share experiences from my travels and personal growth journey in hopes to inspire and connect with other others on a similar journey.
I provide inspiration and encouragement to create the life you desire by showing you it can be redefined at any age. Embrace your unique gifts and dare to take a chance on yourself. I’m here to tell you, it’s never too late.
I aim to build a community of support as we all work towards being the best versions of ourselves through personal development, self-love, spirituality, and finding our passion regardless of age.
My Story
I am an empty nester starting over in mid-life as I embark on a journey of world traveling and personal growth in an effort to find me again after being a single mom for 18 years.
After my daughter moved away to college, I found myself in an empty nest and a bit lost. Somewhere along the road I lost a sense of who I was. I didn’t even know what I liked to do outside my daughter’s activities anymore.
My life had become a series of mundane tasks of fulfilling obligations and trying to be what everyone wanted me to be. This was the perfect time to start living life for me. It was time to discover (or re-discover) who I really was.
As a result, I started journaling to help me navigate my journey and fell in love with how therapeutic it was. Along this journey, I discovered how to embrace my unique gifts to align with my values to create a life I absolutely love! To this day, it still keeps me on the path to personal growth and development.
I hope to inspire others by sharing my journey and adventures, and create a platform for conversation. I’d love to hear your story, too! Together we can build a community where we can share experiences and ideas and inspire each other to keep growing and expanding.
Fun Facts about Me:
- I raised my daughter on my own living in 3 different countries on 3 different continents
- I consider myself a connoisseur of chocolate chip cookies…absolutely love them!
- My happy place is the mountains and my yoga mat
- I’m a self-help junkie
- I love traveling and exploring
- I enjoy fitness, hiking, photography, reading and binge watching Netflix & YouTube
